Seriously? Another "Logo Controversy" is threatening to topple the Conservative government? Grow up. Some of you people take "logos" way too seriously, and this is coming from a man who's fantasy hockey league is titled "Hockey Is God". The logo on the government cheque was a dumb idea, but nobody is hurt by it, except maybe the Tories themselves. If this is the worst scandal that we have going right now, I'd say things are progressing fabulously!
You should not have done it, but this Libertarian pundit could not care less. No harm, no foul.

ReplyDeleteWithout question, this is a blunder by the Tories. It is wrong and the PMO was right to come out quickly and try to put out the fire. But contrary to what some are trying to suggest, it is a far cry from Adscam. Let's keep this in perspective. These were props for photo ops. There is no evidence that anyone was passing money illegally

Exactly. Yet another supposed "scandal" which holds little to no substance against the conservatives, but the media sure love to treat it like its something special.
The logo was a bad move but wasn't anything illegal... partisan yes.
I would argue that if the conservatives weren't in power the money wouldn't of been put to use, rather, the Liberals would be too busy "redistributing" the "wealth" and making everyone measurable with either their carbon tax/green shift or coalition which would of drove the budget into the ground in ways that would of made matters worse all round.
Least with the conservatives, the stimulus has stabilized the country and peoples fears and will actually make the country money in the medium and long term.
We will be okay.
