I was born during a very eventful year on Planet Earth. In November of 1979, two weeks before my birth, Ronald Reagan announced his candidacy for President of the United States while Jimmy Carter was running the country into oblivion. Joe Clark was the Prime Minister of Canada. If people are put on this planet for a reason, here are some of the events that happened when I was tapped for entry into existence.

10) 63 Americans are taken hostage by the men of Iranian leader Ayatollah Khomeini
