What will Ignatieff hear on his "Listening Tour"?

I have learned via the magic of Twitter that Mike Ignatieff is embarking on a week long cross-country "listening tour". Parliament must not be sitting this week. This magical mystery listening tour is likely of the purpose of promoting the upcoming thinker's conference. Listening tour leading into thinker's conference; makes sense. Iggy is desperate for even a single "bold idea" and has to cultivate something from somewhere to avoid going to his thinker's conference empty headed.

I'm curious, what do you think will be some of the more amusing outtakes from this voyage? I can scarcely imagine how many of the left's lunatic fringe will show up to share some "big ideas". The farther left is dominating the Liberal narrative these days, and if Mike is choosing to cultivate their collective thoughts before his big thinker's gala, he stands to make a really big ass of himself.

  1. Who's opening the show for his listening tour? Hopefully someone as fascinating and interesting as Ignatieff, like maybe Stephane Dion, or Michael Moore.

  4. Wilson, are they organized enough to get off their couches and protest, or will they be too drugged up to know what is happening?

Iggy already did the university tour, what demographic is he targeting now? The frail peoples vote?

  6. "Listening Tour" eh!

It'll be more like "Listless Tour".

  7. Why is he not in Parliament??? He was whining that the open doors were closed. He could have scheduled this tour when there were no sittings. He will probably be the only one listening to himself and the converted. The silent Canadians who do not care for his ideas will never go to these events.

    Dipper voters Hunter.
It's always been about the Dipper vote for Liberals to have power.

  9. Parliament is sitting this week. Wonder if the MSM will comment on his absence.

  10. Considering that parliament will be sitting while Iggy is on tour, there should be a lot of angry CAPP people screaming "get back to work!"
