CBC Branching Out

I am going to give the folks over at the CBC a little bit of credit for finally steering away from Frank Graves polling services. I visited the CBC webpage and was shocked to see that they reported a political opinion poll from a company other than EKOS, a poll that has the Tories leading by 11 points. In the last 2 weeks, we have had Ipsos and Leger with the Tories at 37 and 36, while Graves and Gregg had them at 31% and 29%. That is a significant discrepancy. Either the electorate is very volatile, or somebody is wrong (I'll put my money on the two guys with regular guest spots on the CBC).

I am pleasantly surprised that the CBC reported this poll, and I hope this is the beginning of a new trend. One has to wonder if this represents a corporate policy shift, and if Kady O'Malley will follow suit. Will she continue with her weekly EKOS while continuing to ignore every other pollster? I won't hold my breath...

  1. I will never give the Communist Broadcasting Company any credit..especially when they are forced to go to alternate sources because their bought and paid for man has been exposed..

  2. don't bet on it my friend. I've seen this before too. They are like Pakistan. They cave when they see that they can't win but they are never really on our side. Never.

  3. The only reason CBC has used a different polling firm is because they were embarassed and outed.

  4. The disconnect is the $ 11k donation, leadership to Rae. Ignatieff were not disclosed but in fact exposed by a paid partisan from the other camp.

If CBC had full disclosure how much each panelist donated to each party if any from the beginning would we outraged as much?

Frank Graves, the CBC did NOT present himself Franks commentary as anything but from a neutral pollster. ( I did NOT say research)

I am referring to his comments attached to every Poll.

The excuse they use: they have said their own department check his data to look for bias?

The CBC should replay the criticism they pay for against the government about appearance of wrongdoing, secrecy with a hard look in the mirror about the handling of the Frank Graves file.

  5. The CBC are nothing but rotten, lying propagandists. Of course these despicable creeps support the Liberals, the NDP, the Bloc and the Greens, but there real goal is the total government takeover of You, Me and everything else in society.

These Prog supremacist fascists have every intention of strangling real freedom and real democracy. That’s what Total Government does. The CBC is an integral part of it.

  6. It's funny... the CBC has been shouting at rooftops how neither they nor Frank Graves are biased and that they are not basing their opinions and polling on a biased pollster. And now they are using somebody else for a change.

I believe in the real world we call that a tacit admission of guilt.
