The Omnipresent Magical Bus Tour

According to Ignatieff's personal blogger, the Liberal Express is everywhere at once, in all places, doing all things, stalking Canadians at every turn. The Liberal Express is not just a bus, it is every Liberal MP. And of course what cross country promotional blog would be complete without a Tim Horton's drop? "At this very moment, somewhere in Canada, there is a Liberal MP standing in line at a Tim Horton’s." Yes that's what they say. There are 77 people in Canada who can are Liberal members of Parliament, and at any given minute of any given day, one of these 77 people is standing in line at a Tim Horton's. That begs the question, how many times per day would each Liberal MP have to visit a Tim Horton's for there to always be one in line? I'm pretty sure Iggy drinks Starbucks, so count him out of this experiment.

The magical bus tour continues!

  1. Why does Ignatieff even need to employ a writer to chronicle his journey? Isn't being a writer Iggy's true vocation?

  2. Going 24/7, there are 1440 minutes in a day. So each MP has to stand in line at Timmys 18.70 minutes to cover this statement.

Of course, all Timmys might not be 24/7 outlets. So the MP's near those will have to put in extra time, while their comrades get to split shifts, so to speak.

  3. What bus tour? Dollars to Timmie's doughnuts this bus will sweep across the prairies like a supercharged Viper to the safe Liberal haunts in BC. No one on a win-the-vote tour likes to be told he's an idiot.

  4. Because nothing says ordinary joe like having a personal blogger.
Does he have someone wipe his ass, too?

  5. His wife dresses him and orders his meal, probably cuts his meat also into little bites.
She allows him to take power naps.
He has a personal blogger with him, who is his speech writer-that explains a lot.
I wonder who come up with the idea of having all those photo ops done the same day, in the same clothes, to roll out when they think it is appropriate. Also no mention of who drove the bus from Ontario to Sask in a very few hours and back again. No speeding tickets as far as I know. I wonder if he is even on the bus, except for a photo op showing him getting off.
Starbucks cups in sight on inside pics of the bus, and not a Tims cup in sight, even after a stop. No interviews with any Tim staff, wonder why, no pics of swooning voters, wonder why.
Holds a can of beer like a cup of tea, to show support for his MP facing drunk driving charges.
When this tour de farce is over, and he shows up in a suit and tie, will he considered a phoney as he is more comfortable in tight fitting jeans and a plaid shirt. Who is the real iggy.
