EKOS Mood Swings

I am growing tired of the skipping record that has become the polling network of Liberal pollster Frank Graves. A regular pattern has started to emerge from the world of Graves, Tories pull ahead, then it is tied, Tories pull ahead, then it is tied, and so on and so forth. While other pollsters like Ipsos, Nanos, and Harris Decima have had very little change over the past few months, every week it seems EKOS is providing a new mood swing for Liberal activist Jane Taber (who "sets the agenda" at the Globe and Mail) to write about. Even when the Tories surge ahead they try to spin it as bad news for the party.

It is no big surprise that the CBC contracts Liberal donor Frank Graves to do their national polling, which Taber reports on weekly. Sadly, the CBC prefers to employ pollsters who have their own news making agenda. Though it should be noted that no pollster overrates the Green party more than Frank Graves. He just knows who to call to get the results he's looking for.

  1. that this partisan hack is subsidized by the CBC, is all the more reason to defund the crazed leftist juggernaut immediately - such great news today, that the Sun News network will begin as scheduled - cannot wait to sign up

  2. Why all these polls? Is it because the Tories are tied or the liberals are ahead that they post the so-called "latest" poll to get people too join the poll and move the liberals higher? I don't understand it.

  3. Mood swings? More like Bi-Poller Disorder.

  4. When poll swings of one or two points, with the movement still leaving each major party below 40%, is nothing for anyone to get excited about. In spite of the media trying to blow it up as a major event, all it means is that after the election no one will have a majority. The left/right, urban/rural split is here to stay for a long time.

  5. Graves, we all know is nothing but a "liberal hack" - knowing exactly who to call to get the results he wants. If he doesn't, he contacts Iggy's Chief of Staff, he knows many liberal hacks being a pollster himself, and "birds of a feather - always flock together"... Graves does not want it to be seen that the Conservatives are moving forward and show any sign of momentum... so he brings them back to his liberal party trying his very best to help his lame duck leader as much as he can!... Wait until Sun comes on board... I am looking for their liberal bias to be exposed each and every day.... Can't wait!

  6. I agree with the comments suggesting Graves to be a shill. As for Sun I hope it takes off. We need them badly but am sadened that Tory is not there for the kick off.
