Which Cabinet Job Would You Give Jason Kenney?

Today's poll question; what cabinet job would you give Jason Kenney? Many of you rightfully feel that he should be rewarded with a significant promotion when Prime Minister Stephen Harper announces his new cabinet in the coming weeks. Kenney has been very effective at Immigration, and if he wanted to keep that job I'd have no objection to that. Where would you like to see him? Foreign Affairs? Treasury Board? Health? Public Works?

There are plenty of options to choose from.

  1. Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Immigration and Multiculturalism is a minor cabinet position. I think he has a good understanding of the world and has shown deft and diplomacy in working with people from different backgrounds.

  2. I would keep him in Immigration for a while. He's done way too good a job for him to leave. There are still more new Canadians to reach out to, even though he's already done a fantastic job.

  3. If the Harper majority is going to hit the ground running, why move successful Ministers around?
Just fill the vacant positions with as little of a shuffle as possible.

  4. He deserves a promotion although wilson may have it right.

  5. Indian Affairs. He's handled immigration well, it's time to de-bureaucratize the Federal side of the Indian Industry so that we can make the part of Canadian Society that needs the most help to help themselves more effective.
